Intern — Geothermal Plant

Plant operation, LOTO and permit-to-work practices, preventive maintenance and SAP ERP-based maintenance scheduling.

What the role involved

• Plant operation: emergency procedures, lubrication systems, exhaust gas & steam systems, cooling water systems and heat exchangers, HVAC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, compressors and valves. LOTO and permit-to-work practices. Startups and shutdowns of the plant and equipment switching.
• Assisted in planning and performed corrective, planned and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
• Conducted routine checks of equipment and operational parameters and analyzed performance data focused on plant efficiency and sustainability. Assisted in technical troubleshooting.
• Utilized SAP ERP systems for engineering management, maintenance scheduling and streamlined resource planning. Preparation of work permits.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams while strictly adhering to HSE protocols and industrial safety best practices.
