Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 10, 2026

I want this site to be usable by as many visitors as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or browser zoom.

What's in place

  • Semantic HTML — headings, lists and landmarks are marked up so screen readers can navigate the page structure.
  • All navigation and contact links are reachable and operable by keyboard alone.
  • Icon-only links (social icons, back-to-top) carry descriptive aria-label attributes for screen readers.
  • Text and background colors are chosen for sufficient contrast in both the light and dark themes.
  • The layout is responsive and remains usable at increased browser zoom and on small screens.
  • The light/dark/system theme switcher in the header is keyboard-operable and labelled for screen readers.

Known limitations

This is a small, actively-evolving personal site rather than a large production product, so it hasn't been through a formal WCAG audit. If something doesn't work well with your assistive technology, I'd genuinely like to know so I can fix it.
