— About Me

The engineer behind the dockets.

I'm a Graduate Mechanical Engineer from Kibwezi, Kenya, working across manufacturing, energy and infrastructure. I'm driven by systems that work reliably, teams that solve problems together and a steady habit of picking up whatever tool the job calls for.

— My Story

From Kalulini to the workshop floor.

I grew up in Kibwezi and finished my KCSE at Kalulini Boys' High School before heading to Multimedia University of Kenya to study Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing. I didn't wait for graduation to start working — while still in school I volunteered with Mbulutini Water Works, helping size pumps and tanks for our local water distribution system, which is where I first felt what it means to design something a community actually depends on.

Since then I've moved through oil and gas at Kenya Pipeline Company, welding and CNC fabrication at KIRDI, plant operations at a Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) geothermal station and a leadership program at Aspire Institute — each one adding a different layer to how I think about engineering. Today I work at Pipe Manufacturers LTD as an Operations & Maintenance Technician, running CNC laser cutting and punching machines and looking for ways to make the process a little more efficient every week.
